Angry Passenger power window goes down, but not up!

i have a '91 mustang and i recently rolled down the passenger window about half way only to find that it wouldn't go back up... but it will still roll down .

the drivers side window is still working fine. anyways, it's -35°C outside and i freeze when i drive so any help would be sweet. oh, and i'm a poor college student so any do-it-yourself suggestions would be nice

remove the switch clean it out with electrical cleaner mine did exactly the same thing and it was just got to dirty to work.if that doesn't work try holding the switch in the up position and bang the inside of the door with palm of your hand, sharp hits not power hits, and see if the window moves.

You definitely need to replace that switch and you can only do it by pulling the panel off, which isn't too hard. Be sure you don't break off the little holding prongs when installing the new one, they're cheap plastic and break easily.
