Default What Do I Need To Do

I Have A 89 Lx Im Building.i Would Like To Go To A Carb.what Parts Do I Need To Complete This Project.i Know I Need The Intake,carb,and Distrib.but What Else?i Have Access To A Edelbrock Intake, A 600 Cfm Carb,and Msd Distirb.is There Anything Im Missing?please Let Me Know Thanks Ed

fuel pump. which can become a big deal if you want a mechanical one. the EFI fuel pump uses way too much pressure for a carb. mechanical fuel pump needs a different timing cover and eccentric on the cam to drive it. i dont know how people do it with the computer in there. im doing one right now but its not going to use a computer for anything.

cant help ya there. im putting a 88 crown vic 5.0L into a 67 cougar so i dont have the in-tank fuel pump.

edelbrock carries a intank mechanical fuel pump and run your own fuel lines.and another tip would be to put two inline fuel filters,one at the carb,one midway up the fuel line.to remove the intank pump you will have to empty and drop the tank.unhook the harness and remove the bolts.
