Congrats in advance on the 10 second pass.

It feels good when a long project comes together.

Took it on the road today, 1 mile out, 1 mile back, it's kinda lazy. The old man said he'll tweek that out of it. Got to remeber I don't know squat about a car carb, Hell I didn't know you were suppose to put mass air meters on Mustangs.

With that monster cam it probably will feel "lazy" till you get in the powerband. I hate tuning carbs, I suck at it.

Well Dyno was today, WHILE I WAS AT WORK!

1st pull was 415 at the tire, too lean.
8-10 pulls later 408 at the tire, perfect, @ 6700

I am not sure what it is at the motor, I figured 522. What do yall think?

Now I have to go try and drive it for a 1/4 mile. I still have 3.55s and I know thats not right, so I was told to pay close attention to the rpms when I cross the stripe. And from there we will calculate a gear change.

So slowly it's comming around.

Went to the track last night. Kind of shameful, but due to tranny blues. I ran 118 - 119 five times, never hit 2nd gear, crossed a 5200 in forth, and even ran 3rd out to the stripe, 118 again. Street Radials drove it there and back and never opened anything but the drivers door. Wasn't so bad for a first run I guess. The ET, Oh I didn't put that did I

I found some 4:30s today, the 3:55s will be coming out. I put 3.55s in there when I did the turbo thing and they are killing this small cube high reving engine. I will be a little while getting 2nd gear issues strait but it will come in time. I'M JUST HAPPY TO BE ROLLING.

Today I changed the radiator and the elec. fan. Alum. radiator from auto zone, direct replacement. Free with the ol lifetime warranty

Now the good stuff, Last week I only ran 12.13 @ 119, Today I adjusted the clutch cable a little stiffer. I also decided that if the ol tremac wouldn't shift at 7000, I'd shift at 5500 for 2nd gear. Good chioce, I never missed a gear, ran 3rd out to the stipe. I launched at 2000 on the BFGs, shifted at 5500, It would fry the tires when I hit 2nd, I ran 2nd to 7000 and stuck 3rd. I was crossing in 3rd at 7500rpms. It ran 11.88 @ 123.57 I did this three times and came home.

I think tomorrow the 4.30s are going in.
