Default DBX digital mass air

This piece intrigues me for sure. I know it is relatively new to the market, but has anyone bought one? Abaco Performance, LLC

I've got a friend who uses one, looks to be pretty sweet. Doug, who designs/makes the PMS, is the man behind this new mass air meter. Paul, who writes the InterACQ software, is writing the software for the meter. The signal looks to be smooth, with good flow numbers and the ability to change injector calibrations without sending the meter in is a plus. The end user will be able to modify the MAF curve as well for fine tuning.. This is what he had to say about it....

6 pulls with my old school 80mm plastic shorty Pro-M/PMAS meter:
419..52 rwhp
349.38 rwtq

6 pulls with the Abaco Performance 97mm:
421.45 rwhp
353.02 rwtq

There is also some gain all across the board, not just peak gains. Run06 is the Pro-M and Run12 is the Abaco. All runs were done consistently, made all pulls with the water temp at 125 degrees.

Sounds good! Do you know if the fine tuning is pretty straight forward? Honestly I am more interested in driveability right now. I used to have a Pro-M 75mm bullet and 24 LB. Injectors. Tha car ran great at WOT, but part throttle driveability suffered big time, especially around 2000 rpm. I stuck the stock 19's back in and the stock mass air meter in to see what would happen. The driveability was almost perfect. Of course power suffered alot. I want the power while enjoying driving on the street. I thought maybe this mass air could be best of both worlds.

This meter is for a guy with an aftermarket block that is pegging out regular non-digital meters.

For us guys Under 500RWHP I really dont see the benefit.

I'm thinking of using it on my Dart IE 363 block I just got from Keith Craft Racing. Gonna be pushing a little boost on it..

Also for blow through MAF applications, I have one for my turbo setup. Big price but worth it for drivability.
