Default engine quits while driving

95 GT 5.0 started dying while driving on the highway, not often, but out of the blue. No other problems were evident, runs fine.
Now it will not start at all. The starter is strong, getting fuel.
I can retard or advance the distributor and it will start occationally. Replaced the cap, rotor and checked all wires.
Bought a code reader which shows that #8 cylinder is questionable, but has good compression. Pulled plug which seems to be wet.
Any ideas?

Default Re: engine quits while driving

Check the Ignition Coil, I had the same problem a couple weeks ago right after I bought new plugs and wires, distrubator cap, damper pulley, etc. Twenty bucks and 15 minutes of work and Ive never had the problem again.
