, so then she gets naked...
...just kidding, but I bet it got you to look at my post. Does anyone know if you can get a bellhousing to bolt up a TKO II to a 429/460 and what might be a good clutch to run with the setup and the motor putting out approx. 600hp? I'm also looking into getting a 514 stroker kit, I've heard bad things about one or two of the stroker companies sending wrong cranks, etc., so any info on a good company to deal with would be appreciated. ------------------ 86 Mustang GT w/pretty stock 93 5.0 (e-cam,pulleys,injectors, throttlebody,h-pipe,headers) Swapping out the 302 for a 514 stroker(was a 429)-cobrajet heads, solid roller cam, victor intake, TKO II trans, 3.73's w/axles&c-clip eliminaters. |

Dude, that wasn't cool...you had me all excited and then this!
Seriously, I have no idea. But you could always try calling D&D Performance in Wixom Mich. They are tranny experts. Their number is (248) 926-6220. When you do get the 514 installed, keep me posted, I would love to see that thing run at National Trails. 302LXEric, where in columbus do you live-whats your car look like. I live in westerville, I drive an 86 GT-silver w/black hood stripe. Realistically, I probably won't have the motor ready to go in until probably mid next year, but I'll let you know when I do, actually I'd like to get there once more sometime this month, let me know if you go up there. ------------------ 86 Mustang GT w/pretty stock 93 5.0 (e-cam,pulleys,injectors, throttlebody,h-pipe,headers) Swapping out the 302 for a 514 stroker(was a 429)-cobrajet heads, solid roller cam, victor intake, TKO II trans, 3.73's w/axles&c-clip eliminaters. |

That 429/514 might turn even the TKO II to a pile of steaming metal. Maybe you need to go with a C4 or a C6 if that can squeeze in a fox body ??? Most big blocks are just happier with a built up auto. Or heck why not a toploader!!!

FoxBuilder - Trail's still has Wednesday night racing open?!?!? If so, I want to go next Wednesday. I thought they were closed up for the winter? If they are open I have got to get out there! WOO HOO! Now I just got to get another 250 miles on my new Tremec before I go beat the snot out of it! hehehehe
As for my Stang, it is a 1991 LX Coupe - Oxford White. It looks very stock - even have the orginial "pony" wheels on. Are you heading out to NTR anytime soon? Maybe I can meet you out there? Take care, E ------------------ 1991 5.0 LX Coupe - 38,000 miles 13.17 @ 106.14 mph w/ 2.138 60' |

Eric, I know it would be a bit of a drive, but we are renting a drag strip for the day over here in Indiana. Only bad thing is it's on the north-western side of Indiana. I have a post in the drag racing forum if for some strange reason you'd want to drive that far. We have about 40 cars coming so far but that will still let you run as many passes as you want.
