Post Replacement wires etc.

Hey everyone I am thinking of gettin new spark plug wires and a cap and rotor pretty soon and was wondering what would be good. I was thinking of Ford Racing 9mm wires and an MSD cap and rotor kit. Does this sound good thanx

I don't think you should have any problems, it sounds like that would provide a low resistance ignition setup and they should all fit together without any problems.

Sounds fine.

I use Taylor Spiro-Pro plug wires but also used the Ford 9mm wires for years with no problem. I just find that the Taylor's snap on and off easier (no ripped ends) and the 8mm size fits my wire holders better.

I use an Eichlin brass-terminal cap & rotor but the MSD kit is good, too.

If you are getting wires & cap & rotor, you may want to look at getting the Tune-up kit from Downs Ford (or similar). I got 9mm wires, cap, rotor, plugs, PCV, and Fuel Filter for $79 + $10 shipping. Some places sell the 9mm wires for $50 by themselves.

Thanks for all your help. I will get the wires and probably buy a fuel filter from a ford dealer in my area because i can get 20% off from them through the mustang club. I kinda want the MSD cap and rotor because it is red... I guess im weird like that o well
thanks guys

Nick
