experts on 3:73 changing, help !
I asked Downs Ford, performance motorsports, and was told that besides the ring and pinion kit, all I would need is pinion bearing and speedo gear. Is it correct?
I need to know exactly, because it'll be an foreign order. Thanks in advance ------------------ 95 5sp GT, black with gray leather, 17 in wheels, K&N filters, MAC cat-back. |

the ring and pinion set only comes with the gears. you will also need the install kit (basically includes; bearings, crush sleeve, pinion seal, shims & marking paste).
not sure which speedo gear you need, but yes you will need one. ------------------ 84 GT,shorty headers, open dual's, bored .060, 10.5" clutch, T5, 89 heads, edelbrock Performer manifold, matched cam, 600 Holley.. never enuff & always learning.. the only sound, better than a strong running V-8, is a woman having the big 'O' |

unless specified, the kit does'nt usually contain the axle seals and bearings (as long as you have it apart, you may as well replace them)...
good luck. |

I've been through 5.0 magazine in search for ads on gear sets, and no one mention the install kit; however, maybe if I contact'em and ask for it they may include in the order.
Any suggestions on where to order. Better if next to Orlando. Thanks again! ------------------ 95 5sp GT, black with gray leather, 17 in wheels, K&N filters, MAC cat-back. |
