Hello Greg, I have a 95 cobra ,and I took my car to a svt dealer for the same thing and they fixed the sending unit, but a week later it started doing it again . So this time they told me the gauge it's self was bad, they also changed that and it's worked perfectly ever since . so my suggestion would be to check the gauge also, it seemed to help me!! ................................. 95 cobra Blk on Blk, K+N Filtercharger kit air box removed,March aluminum underdrive pulies,14 degrees timing,Mac equal length headers,Mac H pipe w/cats, Richmond 373 rear gears, and Hurst short throw billet shifter.
