![]() I'm doing the swap right now, and it can be involved.
Fuel Syst: You can run your stock pump or larger, but you'll need to regulate the pressure down, you cna get away with it using a Race reg from Mallory it is a 4 port, and has a return. It is a tough unit, and will handle up to 50 psi. Route it in, and reroute it to the return. I've used it b4 in another swap it will work fine on a mild motor. I would recommend swapping to an external carb pump, and a sump, or fuel cell. The stock fuel lines should be able to support a mild motor, but anything over 350hp I'd upgrade your lines to at least 3/8. Trans: If you have an AOD you can get a new cable, and adapter from Lokar(www.lokar.com) they sell the shorter cable, and extension you'll need. Throttle: I think the stock cable will work fine, but it'll be a bit long. If you have a T5...obvious! Heads" Your E-bok's will be fine Dizzy: you'll need a regular dist, as the EFI one has no advance capabilities. I'm using a MAllory Unilite w/mechanical advance. I believe you can use an older Duraspark. Email me if you have anymore Q's gofastlx@yahoo.com Rob |
