Anybody using FMS Alum. Driveshaft?
Well I ordered a FMS Alum. Driveshaft today from Summit, but it looks like I get to call and cancel the order in the morning because some idiot decided to steal my wifes wallet tonight and we had to cancel the credit cards. Now that I have a week or so to think about it, is this a good piece? I had also ordered the FMS safety loop to go with it. Is there a better driveshaft for about the same price or a little more? Which piece is everybody running and how do they like it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the FMS d/s, i like it and thought it was worth the $$, although i wish i got subframes first, anyhow it took out all the vibration i had, and you get new u-joints with the shaft, also it looks cool, much lighter, less srain on the motor and trans, so it's worth it IMO

i have on installed on my car, but it was already on the car when i bought it, it is definately lighter than the stock steel driveshaft therefore you have less rotating mass which in turn means more power at the wheels. but dont be fooled its not an incredible amount of change. my driveshaft also makes weird noises at certain speeds, its pretty cool to here it

The FMS alum drive shaft is a great choice, less rotating mass, can't go wrong here.

Yet another vote for the FMS Alum. DS. I have it and it is great. Less weight, very easy install and looks cool - even though not many people see it!

Thanx for all the replys. Just wish I didn't have time to sit here and think about what I want to do. There is another post that I am going to post after this with a different option I am looking at. Please read that one too. Ohh what to do....
