Im assuming you have an AOD since you didnt mention it? Whats with he stock upper and the holley lower? Talk about a mismatch?

Anyway, it doesnt matter if you buy the cam or the torque converter first? Just figure out what you want, and then match it all up. It would probably be easier to pick a cam, then match the converter, since you have your engine almost done, but there no reason you cant get a converter with the stall you want, and then try to match your cam to it, as long as the cam matches the rest of your combo.

ps - I like the cam specs you have listed, sounds like a good cam for you.
