Cool TIRE QUESTION

I just finished modifying my mustang and I think I am goin to need some pretty good sized tires to get some traction. Can someone please tell me the biggest tires that will fit my mustang. Plus if anyone has any suggestions on what to buy. Thanks alot.

What year and style is your car? What size rims do you have?

Forget about it. You will smoke off any street tire with a strong combination, doesnt matter how wide they are. Stick with whatever fits and looks good.

Its a 1990 Mustang GT..i just have my stock 15inch turbines on it now. Do you think it would be a good idea to just leave these wheels w/my Hoosier GT's for the street and what I am really looking for is some tires for the track. I thought about buying a set of rims a tires for the track but I dont have any idea what will fit under it without any rubbing problems.

I'd be surprised if you could go any wider than 245 series. You can gain about 3/4" if you take your quad shocks and flip them around for added clearance.
