HELP BRAKES
I have a 1990 5.0 and I have a problem with my Brake lights. They do not go on I push on the brake pedal. The rear lights do come on when I turn on the lights but the brake does not come on. I guess just the "parking" brake comes on in the corners but no "strong" brake light when I push on the pedal. I have checked the fuse and it is good. I bought new lights and still no luck can any1 help me please

I had the same problem. Turns out the little sockets my brake lights go into were bad. I could either have tail lights or brake lights, but never both at the same time.

I had the same problem on a ranger I use to own.It was the brake light switch located on the pedal. I went through like three swithces before one would last.Look up toward the top of the pedal, I believe only a clip holds it on. Hope this helps
