Post Help With N/A Combo

Ok, I think I am going to go with a N/A setup know because I will be getting another car so I want to build a sweet motor for the stang. I really would like it if it ran on 92 or atleast 92 and octace boost. I was thinking:

347 Forged crank, Eagle rods, JE forged pistons
Trick Flow heads (possible stage II)
Trick Flow Intake
30# injector
Unequal length headers
70mm TB
Than switching to 3.73 gears

While keeping the rest the same as I currently have. What compresion can I run with the aluminum heads and still run pump gas and what kinda power would a combo like this make, Can it go 11's.

------------------
1991 Lx sedan 5.0, 5spd, GT-40 Heads, Cobra intake, 73MM mass air, 65mm TB, FPR, 24lb injectors, E303, Headers,off road H-pipe, Flows, K&n , hurst, 3:55's, pullies, etc...
Best ET 13.5 (2.15 60ft)
Best MPH 103.9
On semi-bald street tires
New mods! electric fan, nitto drag radials, mac upper and lower control arms, HD trac-loc, lakewood 50/50's on back, shift light, centerforce dual friction, and rebuilt heavy duty T5

I'd say you should keep it around 10.5:1 comp if you wanna run pump gas. You could probably get away with a little more if you bumped the timing back a bit. But that's just a trade off...more timing, more power...more compression, more power. Doesn't really matter. As for 11s, I think you'll need a bigger cam. I'd also go with a bigger 75mm throttle body. I mean, you've got a 73mm Mass air meter...why make it choke down at the throttle body? Part throttle conditions might be a bit touchy, but at WOT you should make more power.

also, go with full length headers. You will need them in that combo. I would guess 400 HP, 390 lb ft of torque is you get roller rockers. (higher revs). with traction, i would say you'd be pretty damn close to 11's

go with 11:1 compession, You can run that on 92 octane. That 347 should make 430+ Horse power with those heads and cam. 70mm throttle body will be plenty for that combo, but I'd go with a larger maf, and I agree on the long tubes.

Yeah I will probably step up to a 75mm Mass air after a while but with all these mods money could get a bit tight, I will be using a stud girdle to help hold the bottom end together.

I can run 11:1 on pump gas kick a$$!

Note I would rather run unequalength because of the sleeper factor, I mean most would never see this car coming no NOS no Blower no Turbo and it will look like a 302 yet run low 12's high 11's it will be killer. I mean the car looks dead stock I us a shift light cleaverly hidden and no aftermarket gauges it might be mistaken for a 14 second ride (if I can hide the nasty cam).

Personally my next motor will be a 408ci monster they make killer power and will get you deep in the 11's as long as you have all the componets to go with it, suspension, fuel etc...Just an idea if you want to swap everything, hey it only money....atleast thats what I tell myself it helps easy the pain

11:1 compression is gonna be LOUD!!! You're gonna need some good mufflers to keep that quiet. I'm running 10:1 with MAC's and it's very loud. I don't think full lengths will take away from the sleeper factor. Just make sure you don't skimp on the cam. Too small of a cam and you won't really see what that motor's got. If all goes well that car should kick some serious *** ! Good Luck!

75mm TB, pro-m 77mm mass air, keep 3.55's(you have a much more broud powerband now)and 1 3/4" long tubes is almost a must along with 3" exhaust..o and swap out those trick flow heads for some ported AFR 185's..this should be good for 11.0's with some practice if not 10's with some 1.5 60fts and a trip to jenny craig..also go with the best trickflow intake and port that also..347 needs to breathe..
