Demon 650 vs Holley
Has anyone had experience stepping up from a standard 650 holley to a Speed Demon 650?
Anyone know of a dyno test done to justify spending the extra money? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. |

5.0 Magazine and MM&FF (don't have months, sorry) have both done comparison tests using Demons and Holleys. The Demons always come out on top....usually by around 10hp or so.

Unless you're going to do some all out drag racing, go with the Demon. But if this is your daily driver then stick with the Holley. I seen guys at the strip put in a Demon, run a few test runs and end up taking it back off and running their Holleys. Unless you really have one heck of a motor stay with the Holley. The Holley double-pumpers are a big gain over the Holley vacuum secondary carbs even though the cfm's are the same. Been there, done that. Have fun.
