90dps, what temp is the thermostat u have in there right now? Whats the temp running in the car? I know with my underdrive puliies and running a temp of about 180, my car doesn't exactly warm up real quick on the inside. Had thought about using a 195 for the winter months.

Im not sure, its the same stat that came with the car, i assume it's a 195, the car was bone stock when i got it, and also it used to work good, but now it takes forever to get semi warm, I may change the stat because it could be stuck open....i guess.

Yeah I never thought to check the termostat to see if it was stuck open. Might want to keep an eye on the heatercore just in case. You never know with those things. I've replaced 2 since July in mine.

I dont think it's the core. Dont they leak when bad? or not get warm at all? also i heard police or dps stangs had alot better stronger cores?
But i know about the troubles people have with them. |

Yeah they usually leak. i was lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) when my 2nd one went bad because it was leaking right on my header. Nothing like the smell of antifreeze hitting the headers. I would take a look under the carpet at the firewall just to make sure that it isn't leaking inside the car if it is the core. I'm not sure if the DPS cars had a stronger core or not. Have you replaced the thermostat yet?

No, i walked right bye the thrmstats today at autozone, but i was getting clips for my fuel return line, where i think a clip didnt get put back in right,
I filled my tank and it started leaking from the top off the tank?? i changed my fuel pump a couple months ago, and lost that white clip, so i used a POS one,and i knew it didnt hold good enough. im dropping the tank tommorow if it stops raining, and changing all clips. ------------------ 90 lx coupe: Mac cold air fenderwell, accel supercoil, advncd ignition,3-core radiatr, FMS alum D/S, Black magic fan, 3.27grs, 3chbr flows.
