My personal theory is that Ford just didn't want to re-engineer the T-bird engine line just to put the old style intake on the SN-95 motors. There is more than enough room for the earlier style intake and throttle bodies in the 94-95 bodies. If you want to put different valve covers on the 94-95 engines you will have to put a spacer under the upper because of the location of the TB. Probably run into hood clearance problems then. |
