SC T-Bird or SVO Mustang Injector size
Does anybody know what the factory injector sizes are for the SC Thunderbirds and/or the SVO Mustangs?
I see that both Jeg's and Summit have dropped FRP injectors larger than 30#'s and have started carrying Holley injectors which are damn near 80 bucks a pop! And they dont indicate if they are a superior design, are flow tested, ect? Ordinarily I might go and spend the cash, but without any solid evidence to the contrary, I can't see spending an extra 30 bucks an injector if I can get a 36# injector for about 50 bucks a pop from auto store that has the same qaulity? |

The SVOs had either 36#s or 30#s. I THINK the T-Bird SCs had 24#s...maybe 30#s but I kinda doubt it.

For some reason I though they were 14 pound injectors. That's what the guy that sold us our SVO said. I don't know I'm still learning about the SVO. I do remember him saying that he used some SC injectors because they were bigger by 2 pounds.

Super Coupes had 30s up til about '94, when they received 36s.
SVOs had injectors which were much bigger than the 5.0 injectors...I believe they were 30s. ------------------ '91 LX Procharger, 3 row intercooler, extrude honed Cobra intake, Mac full Length Headers, 30# inj., 73mm C&L, 75mm tb, E303 cam, 289 rods, ported E7 heads, MSD, T-Rex w/255 lph Walbro, 5 lug conversion, Cobra R wheels, 3.27 gears and Moser Axles. |

good, I'll check on that latter on today, My brother works at autozone and he told me they have a few SVO injectors in stock. I'll ask and see if they have any 95 and up injectors for an SC t-bird.
