I would adjust your idle screw on the t.b....i had that same problem when i put my new edelbrock t.b. on my car when i did my engine rebuild. it was only idlying at about 700rpms and wanted to die, so i adjusted the screw and brought it up to about 1,000rpms...everything's been fine since. in case you dont know where it is, it's on the back, bottom side of the t.b. mine is an allen head screw...his might be too, but i'm not sure. just remember how much you turn it...in case that's not the problem, so you can turn it back...but i'm pretty sure that is the problem...let us know what happens. josh
