I guess I was just tired of having to work on the holley all the damn time either one always went bad after a few weeks of running excellent. Right now I practicly have the whole edelbrock power package in my 67' fastback, 8.8 accel cables, wide dist. cap, aluminum water pump, aluminum radiator, road lifters, comp cam roller tip rockers, modded c4, v matic hurst shifter, tci stall converter, perma cool electric fan. carter elecric fuel pump, flame thrower coil, magnetic pick up, K&N, cerama coated headers, dual flows with H-pipe, windage tray, crank scrapper, solid motor mounts(kept breaking the normal ones) recently did my rear end swap. Soon to add the edelbrock performer nitrous set up(fan, mechanical fuel pump, ac, and power steering have been removed. Get a solid 15-20 mpg in the city driving it hard. All in All I'm happy with the set up

Ok...well...I figure it's time to wrap this one up. I've heard a lot of good things and, after having a Carter, I'm ready to try running a Holley. But what kind should I get? I'm sticking with 600cfm, but should I get a DP with vac. secondaries? I've also heard really good things about their carbs with dual inlet bowls. I'm looking at a 600cfm 4150 in Summit (#HLY-0-80145). It's a double pumper w/ electric choke, dual inlet fuel bowls, vacuum secondaries, and a Ford kickdown linkage. Does this sound like a good carb for my setup? Screw gas milage... I just want more power without fouled plugs and such. Is there another better option?

Don't knock until you try it is what I say. In other words dont underestimate a properly built car that just because it runs on pump gas and gets good gas milage doesn't mean it doesn't go fast. Just like edelbrocks multi point fuel injection camaro 450 hp 350 engine 18-20 miles a gallon and runs on 87 octane.
