![]() In my haste to ry and get this done, I forgot how the old pump was wired. I wired it right now with the black on the right and the red on the left when the line that the gas comes out of it closest to you. Basically, the 2 wires as they come off the sending unit (electrical connector) are crossed and go to opposite sides. Is this right?

![]() Also, is there sopposed to be some kind of big metal bracket that looks like it should bolted down floating around in there.......It looks like the fuel pump sat inside of it, but it's just floating around......

![]() You match up the wires to the connector...
![]() As for the metal bracket floating around... It should be spot welded to the tank. Its an anti-slosh (breakwall) around the pump. Others will experience fuel starvation on roadcourses when this happens. Dont know if you can just JBWeld it back in place...

![]() Well everything is done and put back together except for the 2 straps. I can't find anyone to help me right now. The tank is def. too heavy for me to lift it up.......but atleast everything is back together!

![]() I am so F*CKIN PISSED right now. I just did my fuel pump in 90 f*ckin degree weather and the f*ckin car will not START!!!! I busted my f*ckin *** trying to do this and the f*ucker is doing tha same sh*t!!!! I have to start another post to see what the hell is going on.
