![]() I've got Cooper Cobra Z-rateds in the back, with AA for traction and A for temperature, 245 50 16's..they're low on tread but still legal, and with the 4.10's, anything past 1/3rd pedal on takeoff and I burn serious rubber. And even in the top rpms in first gear (say, 4500), flooring it still breaks traction til 2nd. I'd hate to see what cheap rubber would do....

![]() well i got to say although i haven't had the liberty of driving a blower car with 4.10's i have owned 2 stangs with 4.10's and i have no complaints. with an average street tire i only ran about 2100rpm on the highway(60)mph and still got around 22mpg average so i say go for it

![]() How'd you pull 2100 at those speeds?? My grandpa's Nissan with economy gearing can't do that! I do about 2500-2700 in overdrive at around 70 mph with my 4.10's.

![]() Nixon, he's probably talking through a T-5. Since you are running an AOD you're stuck with one less gear than us T-5 guys

![]() Yeah but isn't the final gear an overdrive gear with virtually the same ratio, you just have an extra beefy gear somewhere in there, such as a 4:1 first?
