In any case, ive pulled the 4 on the passenger side and didnt see a crack.

Thanks in advance.

heheheh yeah, the last time I changed my plugs it took about 2 hours. The p-heads and special headers are a pain in the arse.

I didn't see the crack, but a buddy of mine pointed it out and even then I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for him. You're better off just changing them all out.

Have fun!

Default so far i have about 5

so far i have about 5 of em changed out, and have a sun burn on my back. My problem is not so much taking them out, its getting the new ones in. I am having a hell of a time trying to get them to catch a thread so that i can put the ratchet on em and finish em. On cylnders 3, 4, 6, and 7 i can use like 2 fingers to try and put em in the block and then skrew them in. I cant work with that little of space. Freaking 95's and their limited space.

This is the first time ive changed my plugs with these mac shorty equals, and i am shooting myself in the head for buying em instead of long tubes.

que lastima

Did you do a cylinder balance test? A cylinder balance test would have determined which cylinder was weak. You could have figured out which cylinder, if any, had a problem.

Did you check the exhaust?

Default just through..

just through trial and error, i figured out which cylinder was misfiring.

the exhaust is fine. There is a leak that i have had forever on the smog pump, and unfortunetly, there is a leak that i have had since i put the shorty equals on in the collector of the passenger side header. Its always nice went mac sends you brand new headers with a leak already in them.

I love my flowtech longtubes. They dont look really nice but they sound fantastic and installation was actually very easy. Plug swap takes about 10 minutes for all 8.

About the cylinder balance test. How is it performed. I'd like to do one on my car, because when I pulled a plug and forgot to reconnect the wire one time a few days ago, the car started and sounded the same when the wire was on.... odd if you ask me

If you have a code scanner, just hook it up, activate it, and then start the engine. The Key On Engine Running test should run. One you receive the results of the KOER, tap the accelerator. This will initiate the test. The RPMs should increase to about 1800 for a few minutes. The computer will beep out the results of the test. A nine indicates that you passed. If it's less than 9, it's the number of a weak cylinder.

Default so depressed

so, i changed the wires/plugs and gapped the plugs at .54

Its still misfiring.

I am thinking its either something wrong with a sensor/computer or the cap.

Any ideas? I seperated 5 and 6 completely with no luck.
