mustangman7777,

Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

My 94 Cobra is running almost identical times. 14.49 @ 95.17 with 2.09 60'. Track elevation is 1000 ft, and I have done all of the tune up stuff. New coil, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, checked compression, checked Fuel pressure...

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Arrow Don't feel bad!

Those are normal times for a near stock 94 cobra around here.

No these aren't normal times, they are below average, but it happens. Get rid of the cobra computer and the cobra cam and see what happens....

I dunno whatelse to say, some cars just dont run that well.

I said around here. I have never seen a near stock 94 cobra run anything other than mid - low 14's, and I've watched probaly 20+ different ones one. I don't know why you guys think they are such beasts in near stock trim.

1BAD89,

It's not the 14's I have a problem with, it's the 95 MPH. Cobras are supposed to run 97 - 98 MPH stock.

I think it may be my ignition getting weak. I notice that when the engine is cold (60 - 70*F) and I stomp the gas in neutral, it bogs and sputters. sounds like too much fuel or weak spark, doesn't it?

Thats not slow?, I don't think that's bad at all, you said you didn't hook up well, it's the E.T.'s that are down, and rightfully so, with some traction, and more track experience, you'll be right at 100 mph or more and the E.T's will come down drastically.

Ease up on yourself and your pony, she's got it, you just got to sort it out.
