my oil pressure looks low all the time(at idle) maybe in the lower third?? not sure on numbers...Water temp should be around 175-200.
If your running hot try redlines"water wetter" and a 180* stat...don't use the 160..you will run rich all the time

Mine always reads in the upper 1/3 (oil) and the the temp always in the lower 1/3. Is my temp too low. I do smell the gas quite a bit when I let it idle in place for a bit, but I do only have 2 cats.

another thing...when the car is warmed up it usually reads just a bit under 180 but when i shut it off it reads close to 200..is it normal for it to get that hot..i know that with the engine shut off no coolant is being circulated but still?
