Rearend squeal
MY rear end has a very loud squeal that starts everytime I make a hard turn. If I make a hard turn and get on it it does not make the sound. It is a rotating metal on metal sound. It has new fluid, new drive shaft, new pinion seal, and new cover seal. When we replaced the driveshaft it went away for about 2 months and is back now. Everytime I turn and go normal it makes it. Any suggestions? Bad Diff? It also has Richmond 3.73 gears. have they gone bad?

yes
Could be either the posi is going bad, or a carrier bearing. Coast at about 30 or so in 5th gear, and turn the steering wheel back and fourth, so the rear sways, then listen for noise. If the noise comes off and on, like you can bearly hear, then is a carrier bearing, you should be able to tell which one it is if your good Othewise could be the posi. Only way to see whats wrong is to pull the cover off
