Catback Exhaust for my 91 lx vert
I am currently researching which catback exhaust I would like to purchase for my 91 lx convertible. I want the v8 roar, but under normal driving, I would like it to be close to stock. When I open it up, I would like it to roar like an animal. Any suggestions?

I have been very happy with my Dynomax Cat-back system. The tailpipes are stainless and and still look new after 6 years. They are a little pricey (near $300), but look and sound great. Not too loud, but much nicer than stock...still have a drone around 2Krpm, but I think most systems have a drone point...

I like the Dynomax also. I had 2 chamber flows on my old car and they were nice but they were loud at idle and had a bad drone at 2k. The Dynomax's aren't loud at idle at all but they really scream at full throttle. I like them. Makes my car sound different from all the other mustangs around me.

I like the dynomax stuff too. I am seriously considering replacing my MAC cat back with the dynomax. I think BBK Headers, BBK X-Pipe, and the dynomax cat- back would be pretty sweet.
Thanks, DoranW

Dynomax "ultraflos" sound perfect for what you want. I have them on my 79, and it keeps it quiet when I want.

Cool guys thanks.... I just got my car, so I am a little ways off from getting a catback, but it dosen't hurt to search ahead does it? I heard a few sound clips of the dynomax catbacks, and really liked the way that they sounded. I think im going to go with them, after I do a little needed matinence on my car.
