I'm thinking about picking up BBK cold air intake system. has anyone done this, and is it an easy fit into the existing cold air slot in the fenderwell? thanks.

Re: BBK Cold air intake system
I've used similar products like MAC before. I think it has got to be the easiest Mod there can be. You won't have any problems.

Re: BBK Cold air intake system
Ok not sure what happened to my post but here it is again....
The install is pretty straight forward, I recommend the MAC kit because the BBK rubber connectors tend to dry rott faster and are not as good of quality. I know you didn't ask but I would save the money for a gear or exhaust first, much more rewarding than the CAI...Good luck!

Re: BBK Cold air intake system
The cold air intake is just a waste of money unless you go with a larger Throttle Body, prefferably a 70 mm, then you see some power difference.

Re: BBK Cold air intake system
Stock trottle body is good up to 400hp. Regardless the cold air kit
will have to be accompandied with a chip. Yes you have to reflash the computor. Try sct. |
