Re: do i need this?
You'll need the bell housing and the yoke. And while you're at it you may as well upgrade to the 26 spline input shaft and clutch. Personally I would look at getting a built t-5 from ProMotion

Re: do i need this?
You can get the tko500 with the 26 spline input shaft so all you have to do is change the clutch. You can get the bell housing and yoke from promotion as well as many other places. I don't know if you're dead set on a tko but you can get a built t-5 that will handle more power, cheaper than the tko.

Re: do i need this?
what are the benefits to having the 26 spline rather than the 10 spline?

Re: do i need this?
From what I've read tko's are stronger than t-5s right?? If he has the cash to blow he might as well have a better starting point IMO. I have not had experience with either transmission however. (other than my 4cyl t5 that is yet to be installed...)

Re: do i need this?
FWIW, my stock T-5 is a freak, I've been 10's with it, launching at 6K and pulling 1.5 60ft's, although it was on the bottle so i don't count them. It's still going strong for me running high 11's at every event launching at 6k on ET streets. I hear the trmmecs are a little harder to shift than the stock trannies...but def a good investment.
