Ok, i was wondering if the T5 out of a 1987-95 would bolt right upto a 69-74 351 windsor block.?

i believe so, but you would need a different bell housing

any bellhousing from a 351W should work just fine

that is any bellhousing from a 351W originally equipped with a t-5

try a salvage yard or go to a local swap meet and check it out. otherwise post a wanted thread in the for sale section on this site and see what people have!

did the ford trucks come with a t5? cause if so, i could probably find a bellhousing from a truck for the transplant.

are you talkin old ford trucks, im pretty sure then no. all older ford trucks came with a 4-speed manual as the only option as I can remember. If you were thinking new trucks, i dont know then.

It tells you that a 351 and T-5 are no problem with a 302 bellhousing.

arent the stock flywheels/flexplates all 50 oz., every single one ive seen so far is!

It'd probably be better to just buy a new one. Most of them come with weights that you can bolt on to make it a 28 or 50 oz imbalance. A friend of mine has a brand new aluminum one that he doesnt need. Let me know if you are interested.
