If you dont change your heads and intake, you'll be dissapointed with the results of your cam, or at least I was. I am consistently running 14.2's after my cam, whereas before I had a PB of 14.2 and was consistent 14.4's. For all the effort involved, I personally feel that a cam alone is not worth the effort. I love the new idle, and it "feels" stronger, but the numbers arent there. As for the RR's, they reduce friction in your drivetrain, and with a larger ratio, they increase the overall valve lift. Thats about all I know.

Definitely need to let that motor breathe a little easier before a cam would do you much good. Heads, intake, and exhaust would be a better place to go than a cam on an otherwise stock 302. In fact, many people run in the 12's with the stock cam, although once you get heads, intake, and exhaust, a larger cam will help you out even more.

I already have a full exhaust set-up with a cobra intake , i am porting my stock e7te heads to death to save a bit of money, i have an aluminum driveshaft and 3:73's with a pro 5.0 shifter to boot, instead of invetsing money into the cam should i possibly go with a larger TB or maybe Mass Air?. The rollers rockers are a definate go, i am going with 1.7's
