Question sleeper?

Just a quick qestion, i was wondering what could i use to take off my 5.0 on the side of the car. also there is a ford sign, the lx decal, and a name of a dealership on the back. if i take those off, are there any holes and how do i take them off without ruining anything?

Starting at front

Ford symbol on front has two holes holding it on.

5.0 symbols have no holes

LX symbol on back has no holes

Ford symbol on back has two holes

I found it easy to remove all the symbols by just prying them, except the back ford symbol(I broke it taking it off).

WD-40 has worked for me on getting sticky stuff off of my paint. Doesn't seem to harm anything as long as you wash it with soap and water afterwards to make sure there is no oily residue left from the WD-40. It takes off sticky stuff left from stickers (or emblems), oil spots (after I drove down an oil soaked dirt road) as well as tree sap.

to get the emblems off, get a piece of fishing line and work behind them. then use meguiar's paint cleaner to remove the sticky stuff, (it is safe for your paint). but if you do this, do it to make the car look cleaner, not to make it a sleeper. there is not a such thing as a mustang sleeper. these days it doesn't surprise me to see a stock looking stang run 9's or 15's. good luck man

A heat gun is the best way to do it. After they off, use some wax and gresse remover (I use DX-330) and wipe clean. Just give it a few coats of wax later and you will never know they were there

thanks for all replies...i ended up using some sticker and emblem remover that i got from the auto parts store. it worked good until i got to the second 5.0 sign which was a pain in the butt. there was so much glue on the car. i took it to a shop that did a little work on it last year and the guy had a tool that took the glue right off. it looks real nice and clean now. everything came off nice and easy.(5.0's, lx, shepard ford sign) Thanks again
