Default Got my new 306, pics inside

Hey guys,
Just wanted to show you some pics of my new 306. I assembled it myself (cause I'm cheap and it saved me $100) Tell me what you think!!

It's got TRW Speed Pro Forged Flat topped pistons and rings, Clevite 77 bearings, stock reworked rods and a stock 87 crank. Check it out and give me a shout back.

Default Pistons

Like it a lot, looks great.

BTW, what is the nomenclature of those TRW pistons?
I have TRW's too, mine are L-series...

I am curious if you have the same one's because I think my compression is similar.

The TRW's are L-2482F30. They are just a flat topped pistons with 4 valve reliefs. I'm not sure what the volume of the valve reliefs are, so i'm not exactly sure what the compression ratio is. I guess I could figure it out if I really wanted to. Summit Racing's website says that they should be 9.5:1 with 60cc heads, but I would imagine it's a bit higher. Isn't the stock compression 9.5:1 with a slight dish in the stock pistons. Anyway, that's what they are.
