Post N.O.S.???

I've been throwing around the idea of adding nitrous into my fastback. I wanted to add the edelbrock performer nitrous system. Just that I have a couple of questions.
1)How Much can a 302 take
2)How destructive is it
3)What other things are needed to protect the engine.
4)and...can you feel a difference from as low as 50 shot.

My suggestion is to go with Nitrous Express(From personal experience and buddies of mine). You will be able to tell a difference in any shot that you use. I wouldnt go over 125 shot to be safe but quite a few people run 150. Of course you would be able to tell a difference in 50hp gain. I dont believe it will be to destructive to your motor. But if you do go to big with a shot it can eat a whole right through your piston. GOOD LUCK

Nitrous is very safe if used properly.
You can run a 150 shot safely if you run a nitrous retard box like the msd digital6+.

what year is your car? anything prior to 1993 is good because they have forge piston which is strong.you can go with 150 shots but just to be on the save side stay with 125 shots.I used dry system by NOS they are great.what kind of gear are u using? the reason i'm asking you because if you have high gear (3.73 and up) you may not feel the kick as much like u using lower gear ratio but you will notice the speed picking up faster not the neck snapping.don't forget fuel pump and retard timing, use colder spark plug and set the gap at 0.035" now go kick some ***
