steering wheel issues?

i have a 92 gt with air bag and non-tilt wheel. i have looked at several stores for a grant or equivalent steerin wheel, and on the back of every box it says it only fits up to like 91'. ive also been told occassionally that i cant put one on period but i dont believe it. is their some type of installation kit they make for it. i plan on taking the air bag out so....any help or opinions would be great!

You should contact Grant steering wheels through email and see what they say. I thought that the splines for the air bag steering wheels are the same as the non-airbag steering wheels. They probably put that year restriction because you're not supposed to disable an airbag in an airbag equipped vehicle. Good luck,
