Re: What are stock pushrod length on a 5.0 motor
6.272 is the stock length.........and it's so close to what you need I doubt it worth the cost to go custom..........but that is your call...........

Re: What are stock pushrod length on a 5.0 motor
I thought the .272's were stock, but wasn't sure and waited for a second opinion. I also think you're close enought not to worry about it.
I forget the exact length I needed on mine, but noone made them. The one's in the motor are .005" SHORTER than I figured what I needed, and she's good to go, all the way up to 8,000!!!! Check into Trick-Flow push rods. NICE piece for the money, LOTS of my friends are running them, no probs so far. Go for it.

Re: What are stock pushrod length on a 5.0 motor
85-96 5.0s are 6.272"
79-85 5.0s are 6.904" Comp cams has a set that's 6.250" for roller cams and 6.876" for flat tappet cams. Be carefull, if you go too big a pushrod you mess up the whole geometry and the valves will not fully close. Hope this helps....
