Question fuel pump??

Sometimes when I go to start my car in the morning, the fuel pump doesn't energize and the car won't start. I keep trying until I can hear it energize, and then the engine kicks right on. The pump is louder than it should be and has a hard time holding an idle when it's first turned on. Now I replaced the filter a short time ago, so are these all symptoms of a fuel pump going bad?

Maybe you need a new feul pump relay, it's located under your drivers seat... hopefully that's it!! Good luck!
