TFS...higher flow out of the box and capability...can't port thr GT-40, and the cobra has a restrictive EGR.

I like the new Holley/Weiand EFI manifolds. They make the best power out of anything I've seen. Well...the Holley does anyhow. Haven't seen any tests on the Weiand, but they look exactly the same. Trick Flow makes good stuff too.

I ran an 11.384 n/a with a ported Cobra. I had the EGR ported out and the opening bored to 75mm. Lower was gasket matched to a 1262 Fel Pro.

i believe the cobra/GT40 to be excellent choices for a N/A application, but I am quite sure that with your plans of a blower you are going to want more plenum area, which makes an intake such as the Holly or something similar a better choice. When N/A velocity is a big part of the game, making large plenums not so desirable. With a blower you pretty much have the velocity taken care of and now you are looking for volume.
I'm sure someone can explain this much better... Good luck ------------------ '92 emerald coupe, no air silencer, bored stock MAF to 60mm, sub-frames welded, strut tower brace, 180 thermo, 16 deg's, K'n'N panel, bosh platniums, u.d. pullies, off road h-pipe, hurst "stir stick", fms 3.73's. otherwise, factory original. best 1/4 = 13.264@ 100.89mph with a 1.824 60 ft. on turbines with 235/60-R15 BFG DR's |

I like the GT-40 intake. It works great on my car. On a chassis dyno, I made 520rwtq at 3000 rpm ! Most test will show that the GT-40 out flows even the Holly until 5500 rpm. From what I know, moist guys don't go past 6000 rpm . The majority of their time is below 6000 rpm so I think even with a charger, the GT-40 is my choise. I did a test at the race track, with more low end, I was faster in ET, with more top end, I was faster in MPH but lost my et. I changed my combo back to ET. If this car is mainly a race car, look into a Holly. If its a street car with an occasional race, the GT-40 will give you more torque.
