Question 1 chamber or 2 chamber mufflers????

I was wondering if you could buy 1 chamber flowmasters in a cat back system if not, what is the best and loudest(street legal) catback exhaust? Also how much is it and where do I go about getting it? I already have a Bassani X-Pipe with hi-flo converters. (what is the actual name of the catback system I.E. flowmaster(american thunder)

thanx for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine has a mac cat-back with a bassani x-pipe w\cat's and it's sounds really nice. Mean rumble at idle and sounds really good @ WOT. His brother has the same set up but with a flowmaster cat-back. I can't remember which one but it sounds good but not a much rumble. A more mellow sound. I have a mac cat back as well w\an h-pipe no cats and it's LOUD but it sounds good but then again I am running 10:1 compression.

Single chambers don't come as part of any main stream kit, you just buy them and weld or clamp them in. The american thunder kits are 2 chamber designs while the force II stuff is usually 3 chamber.

I have been deciding on this as well-I'm not sure if I have heard single chamber flow's though. Is anybody running these? I had 2 chambers on mine previously and I never felt that they were too loud. Are they somewhat normal until you romp on it or are they more compared to open headers?
