As for the tps, there is a black plastic peice on top of the throttle body. This is your tps. There are three wires coming out of it. You need to stab the green wire with the positive lead on you volt meter and the black wire with the neg lead. Turn the key on but dont crank the car. Before you do any of this, start the car and let it run until it gets to normal operating temp. There should be 2 screws on top of the tps. Loosen them a little so that you can rotate the plastic piece. Turn it until it reaches the desired voltage. Tighten the screws back down, being careful not to move the tps in the process. If the voltage cannot be acheived, you can bore out the screw holes a bit so that the desired voltage can be reached, though I dont think you will need to. Once the screws are tightened, viola, your tps is set.

I'm stumped on the power thing. I suggest doing the tps and checking your timing.

as for the TPS adjustment, I found it was easiest (for me atleast) to pull out the rubber insulator in the harness that the TPS plugs into... and then stick some paperclips into the terminals and then get the reading that way... you can stab into the wires anywhere you want.. but then you've got holes in your wires and I could never get a good poke doing it that way... just alittle tip if you have trouble

What type/year of car? What has been done to it? How do you know its a lack of power? What happens for you to say this?
