Question Whats it worth?

There is a '76 Mustang II with a 351 Windsor in it. The body is pretty badly rusted but the motor runs great. No problem firing after sitting for a while and no smoke. The guy wants $500 Canadian for the whole thing. Imput please?

I would buy it. Not for the car though. I would buy it for the front end and the motor and tranny. How much is 500 canadian in american?

$500 CDN is about $370 USD

I'd buy it just for the motor and tranny, if both are in good running condition.

Personally i wouldnt waist my time on a 76 mustang II Mainly because think about the time area, this is when the goverment was becoming harsh with Hp regulation and proper Exhaust So the motors in the late 70's are in my view crap, not to mention 76 and one body style is the uglyest mustangs ford ever made.

But thats just me.

Yeah, but you can build it into whatever you want. I agree that they were ugly. I would not want the car, but I would like the front end and the motor and transmission. Especially for $370.

I could see wanting the Engine if you where only going to use the block, and heads... and i would want the tranny only if it was a standard. You know, iv realized iv been quoted alot, so ither you just trying to prove a point or just trying to tell me that i talk alot out of my butt... lol

I only use the quote so that someone knows what I am talking about when they read my posts. Not to prove a point or make someone look stupid. It just helps clarify what you are trying to say when posting.
