Question Are long tube headers worth it on a basicly stock 5.0?

I have pretty much all bolt-ons & port matched stock intake & E7's.
Heads are also milled .030
3.73 gears, T-5
I am now running 1 1/2" unequal shorties.
Thanks guys

They are worth it, if you plan on getting heads and a intake later. If you dont, than keep what you have. I would personaly just save my money for a new intake

I think they kill velocity and shorties are much better for low rpm relatively stock motors. I think it has to do with exhaust wave velocity and scavenging. Stay with shorties until you get the heads and intake.

i agree, they say even the stock headers are good for small bolt-on stangs
