Exclamation Can you take a Sportsman 351 block to .040 over?

I found out that my .030 over Sportsman A351 block needs to go to .040 over. The Motorsport catalog lists it as only being able to go to .030 over. Is it possible to take this to .040 safely with the combo listed below? Thanks.

Sorry, Novi408, I don't know the answer to that one, but I just wanted to say that I responded to your question in the Corral re the seal for you Romac balancer.

The CR stands for "Chicago Rawhide". It's a company that manufactures seals. Just go to any place that specializes in 0-rings/seals and/or bearings & they should be able to help. Give them the part # as CRxxxxxx .

Should be able too, no sweat. My production 5.0 blocked needed to be cleaned up at .040" and its still plenty think for a naturally aspirated engine
