Default 302/306/347?

Does anyone know where to get a cheap (sub $2000) 347 short block? I know that if i bought a kit, i could get it for about 1500, but dont really wanna build it myself. I plan on putting it into a 90 stang. Would going with a 302 or 306 stroker be any better. I want to pull the car into the 10's and I have heard about it being done with a standard 302 setup, but i just want to confirm that. Thanks

complete 347 shortblock for $2000 it'll be hard, why not just get a D.S.S. Pro bullet 331 ( http://www.dssracing.com/svo331.htm ), a good set of heads, a good cam, and intake, and a good amount of Nitrous or boost, loose some weight on the car, and 10's is possible if you can drive. But you also have to get that power to transfer to the asphalt.

I got my low comp dss 331 for around 2500. That included the main support and windage tray. I was told the 2 bolt 302 is rated at 400 hp by Ford. The 331 with main support is 650.
