Default Yet another question- Starter. . .

Same '91. First of all, it is next to impossible to get this thing off the ground enough to get under it (I'd like to slap the cat that lowered it right about now) How the heck am I supposed to get to the top bolt on this thing? There has to be an easier way.

If anyone has any hints in the mean time, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks again.

lowering the car will not effect how high you can raise it it does however effect how easy it is to get a jack under it and as far as the starter is your car a stick or an auto im imangining its a stick and i agree it was a bit of a bitch to get to the top bolt as i remember if you can spray it with a ton of liquid wrench and walk away for a while maybe when you come back itll come out easier

I don't know what your setup is, but sometimes it is easier to get the top bolt out from under the hood instead of under the car.

When I had all the stock junk under the hood, I got a very long extension with a swivel on the end and stuck it through an opening in the k-member to get to the top starter bolt. Just an idea
