speedometer gear installation?
Im getting my 3.73's installed next week and want to know whats involved with changin the speedo gear to calibrate with new gears? I know you have to change the gear I just dont know how long or involved a job it is? Thanks

There is a little metal "clip" that hold the speedo gear into the tranny. It is held into by a little bolt (8mm I think). After you remove the clip, the white speedo gear should just pull out. Since it had teeth, you might have to trun it while it pulling it out. It also might be easier to unplug the wireing harness. Then just swap out the gear with the new one that is designed for your rear end. Installation is in reverse
