AFR's
Have you thought about AFR's?
If I didn't have TFS TW heads, that's what I would put in...

The Performer RPM heads are just Performer castings with upgraded hardware, so I'd say away from those. The FMS GT-40X heads aren't that great at all either.
IMO, Vic Jr's would be great for your combo. I don't think they would be too agressive at all. I also agree with Nitro, a set of AFR 205's would kick butt too. I'd pick a cam other than the X-303 there are many more cams out there that would make more power. If you spending this much money on the motor you might as well get a killer cam. And for that killer cam I highly suggest you call up Ed Curtis. Tell him what your combo is and what you want to do with it and I'll custom grind you a cam. It'll be spot on for max power. -Josh, aka the tireburner

well the motor is already in the car... i had gt40 aluminums an b cam last season an was runnin 12.5's at 110+.. i called the edelbrock tech line an they said in order to run the vic. jr's u need at least 12:1 comp. an they recommended 600+ lift cam. so it sounds like i wouldnt see the full potential of thos heads an i dont wanna change cams again righ now. alos i forgot to add i'll be sparyin the car this year, but i just wanted to upgrade heads a lil.

You don't need that much compression or that much lift.
However a better cam would REALLY help you out, even with the heads you have now. I would highly suggest a cam swap. You can do it with the motor in the car. Don't waste your money on a set of heads that aren't much better than the heads you have now. I really think you'd only pick up a few tenths by switching to Performer RPM's. Swap in a good cam and throw on those Vic Jr's. -Josh, aka the tireburner
