What does your SN95 weigh
I've searched online and this forum. Has anyone weighed their SN95 Mustang? I just got a G Tech.
Thanks, Eddie

I believe they weigh about 3300 lbs
How did you only go 104mph with 10#'s of boost?

Stock 88 short block
Canfield aluminum heads 2.02 1.60 valves Ported cobra intake with 65mm TB E-303 cam BBK 1 5/8 equal length shorties. Every bolt on 3.73 gears with carbon fiber clutches I ran a 12.69 @107mph @over 3000ft of altitude. My car weighs 2860 without driver and I weigh 230 lbs. The G-tech says I go 112mph in the 1/4. LOL

I know about that altitude. When I ride my R1 in the mountains I really notice how weak my bike feels when we get up there in altitude. I'd be curious to see how much faster you'd be closer to sea level.

Yeah high altitude sucks. Have fun with the G-tech. I have G-teched at least 30 different cars since I got mine

Not to hijack your thread, Ed, but I just had to ask this question. Do you feel that the G-Tech is pretty accurate? I see the mph is off vs. your track times, Dark 5.0.

It might be fairly close. G tech said 266 rwhp, compared to 1/4mile calculator on smokemup.com said 272rwhp.
BUT, I have put the stock cam back in and ported the stock heads. I feel like the car has lost a little power, the 2 didn't cancel each other out.

Low temp and dry air
I live in Houston where altitude is almost nonexistant. Still, the ambiant temp and relative humidity make a big difference in my track times. Hot and damp is as bad as high altitude any day, LOL.
I mean 13.30/103.6 in good air versus 13.6 101 in bad air. I know what you'all mean about altitude, but other atmospheric conditions can help or hurt as well. Rev

Most 94-95 GT coupes weigh in at right around 3300-3350lbs, GTS coups were about 50lbs lighter in general. My convertible on the otherhand weighs 3510 without me, and that's without the jack, spare, and with alum heads and such.

The reason for that is that the dragstrip averages the last 66' to determine your trap speed, a GTECH doen't. FWIW- when stock, I GTECH'd my car with a 15.1 at 93mph... at the track it ran a 15.2 at 90mph. I think the faster the car, the more inaccurate they become or at least that is what I have seen.

Very optimistic
I've got both the old and new Gtech. The 1/4 mile data that I get right at the track using the Gtech is always fairly optimistic for the Gtech. Here is an example (see attatchment) of the measurements that I get when at the track and using the Gtech for the same run. Don't get me wrong, I like and use the Gtech regularly but really only as compared to other Gtech data.
