Question Header questions

I have a buddy with a 94GT convertable and we were discussing this issue. I don't know what to tell him, he wants to do an entire exhaust swap. He has the BBK cold air in the fender. He wants to go with 1 5/8 long tube headers off road h-pipe and 2.5 two chamber flowmasters and tail pipes. Would it be better to go with 1 5/8 equal length shorties and off road h-pipe. Also would there be a notable difference in the exhaust tone with the two different headers. These would be the only mods besides 3.73 gears.

Long tubes offer more power than shorties, and the exhaust tone will be deeper.

A set of 1-1/2 headers would probably work best on a pretty much stock motor, I've never seen a set of 1-1/2 long tubes, but Dynomax makes a set of 1-1/2 equal length shorties. Seems everybody else just has an unequal length 1-1/2 shorty or just steps up to the usual 1-5/8

Hey Moxie, sell me on why I should get a set of Accel or Holley 36# injectors for my engine? I noticed Jeg's conviently quit selling the motorsport 36#'ers when they picked up the Holley stuff? Are they flow matched if you get a set? Do they offer a better spray pattern, or what?
